New Mastered Tracks UP NOW!

We are proud to announce that after an arduous 2-year process, the recording of our debut album, "Through Blackened Skies" is now complete. We just received the final masters this week so we decided to give you a preview. Complete, mastered versions of "Carbon Copy", "Skeletal Messiah", and "Nine" are now up. Feel free to comment and tell us what you think. We will be releasing the full 13 track album on iTunes very soon. Now it's just a matter of paying for the initial pressing of the cd, which will include a 9 page booklet with lyrics and will once again feature the disturbingly incredible artwork of Nick Perlman. We will keep you posted as to the official release date. In the meantime have a listen and drop us a line. -NR

"Skeletal Messiah" - the words

Lyrics: the most overlooked aspect of metal. Fuck you I put a lot of time into them. So I figured I would post Skeletal Messiah-

A shallow existence
Self-righteous feed
The media has filled our lives with greed
You judge and you label
You tell us who to be
I cannot worship idols of such vanity

Diamonds hypnotize
As you spread your lies
Freely compromise
All that's real inside

Just a hollow shell remains of a life once blessed with a soul
Rotting away right before our eyes it looks like the end of the road

Your skeletal messiah will be a martyr soon
For all of those who mourn her, I'll dig the grave for you

Is this what it's come to?
Our answers in a box
Line up like sheep
The TV herds its flock
Go tell Miss Rivers
She's the downfall of man
Red carpet lust
A plague across this soiled land

Falter to your unholy alter
Proceed to bow down to your god
Ask her for the answers of being
Blinded by this empty facade

New Song Posted

As the end of a long and arduous recording process approaches, the four of us in No Remission are foaming at the mouth to finally release the highly anticipated "Through The Blackened Skies". At this moment there is still no prospective release date, however we do possess a collection of songs which we are happy to say sound amazing. So in the meantime to wet the whistle of those who eagerly wait, we have decided to post a new track from the upcoming album: "Skeletal Messiah" . Anyone who has seen us live in the past year or 2 will be familiar with this tune. It is often preceded by a rant about our favorite bag of bones, Joan Rivers. While that was the inspiration behind the lyrics, the song is really more of an attack on the materialistic ignorance bred by the media. It also touches on my qualms with the shallowness of the fashion industry. So here it is in the meantime, "Skeletal Messiah". Keep posted for updates on the record and upcoming shows. - Will

Lyrics for "This Plague Will Kill Us All"

A plague that's spread across the globe
Through the ages of mankind
Blinded by a fantasy
To keep the sheep in line
Look at all who've died
In the name of their own god
Sent to early graves
For the hypocrisy of faith

Ancient words for ancient minds
Damning you to sheltered lives
Transcendence can not arise
Till we open up our eyes

ch- Reject these bars on our souls
These words were meant for control
Through time we've dug our own hole
Cant wait to see where this goes
Take these lies from our ears
What's this life lived in fear?

Words to scare us all
So we wont question what we're told
Changed throughout the centuries
To create a public hold
Look into the sky
Can you find your man made god?
May he strike me down in flames
If I must reject his

Now's the time to cast away
Inconceivable prophecies
Killing more then all disease
I can't live on my knees

Open up your eyes to see that we are not judged
This is not the end the battle has just begun
Run to your unforgiving god
Hide in the curtain of facade

God gone
Lies contrived
