I wrote this about one of my favorite video games ever, Metroid Prime which was released for the Nintendo Game Cube in 2002. These lyrics are a departure from my normal subject matter. Normally, you would find me venting about the world, or something in my own personal life. This time I wanted to go elsewhere lyrically. The challenge was to write lyrics specific to the game without being incredibly cheesy, and I feel it was accomplished pretty well. This song has become a live favorite amongst the crowd.
